VEKA is completely rethinking the aluminium window. With VEKA AluConnect, the system provider presents the first aluminium window for welding, the best of two worlds.
With VEKA AluConnect, VEKA has succeeded in merging two worlds. Slim overlaps in a striking aluminium look characterise this modern window system and meet the highest demands in terms of design, aesthetics and living comfort.
In addition, it is the uncomplicated processing that makes the system so unique. Welding makes industrial production possible for the first time without corner connectors and other additional parts. This means that aluminium windows can be produced much more economically.
The factory-fitted and weldable seals also eliminate the need for time-consuming manual insertion compared to conventional aluminium windows.
Advantages in stability, thermal insulation and sustainability
VEKA AluConnect is also convincing in terms of building physics. The aluminium shell is not simply clipped on. The patented bonding of the aluminium shells to the PVC support profile creates a shear bond that allows maximum sizes as with an aluminium window.
Since the advantages of aluminium are used for stability, no reinforcement is necessary in the sash profile. The expected Uf value is 1.1 W/m2K, which is below the level of conventional aluminium windows. Additional insulation measures are not necessary here.
Of course, VEKA also has the issue of sustainability in mind. Aluminium windows made from VEKA AluConnect can be fed into the closed recycling loop just like PVC windows - completely uncomplicated via VEKA environmental technology.
