Die Auer Metallprofile GmbH, kurz AMP, ist ein im Erzgebirge ansässiges Familienunternehmen und hat sich der Herstellung von Metallprofilen aus Aluminium, Messing und Edelstahl für den Fußboden- und Wandbereich verschrieben.
1990 durch Gert Ufer und Volker Rohde in Aue gegründet, begannen sie mit 10 Mitarbeitern die Produktion von 2 Profilen in 7 Farben. Besonders wichtig war dabei die Verwendung äußerst hochwertiger und strapazierfähiger Materialien – Ergebnis: Qualität für den Profi!
Durch die stetige Entwicklung und Fertigung neuer Produkte, Investitionen in Maschinen und neue Produktionskapazitäten konnten die Wünsche der Kunden immer besser erfüllt werden. Gleichzeitig stieg die Belegschaft auf aktuell 38 Mitarbeiter und 12 Außendienstmitarbeiter, welche weltweit für AMP agieren.
Die Produktpalette umfasst zum gegenwärtigen Zeitpunkt über 6500 Produkte aus Aluminium, Messing, PVC und Edelstahl, für den Innen- und Außenbereich, darunter eine große Auswahl an Treppenkanten, Übergangsprofilen, Sockelleisten, zwei- und dreiteilige Systemprofile, Fliesentrenn- und Dehnungsfugenprofile, Läuferstangen, Einschub-, Rampen- und Spezialprofilen; alles was man für die diversen Bodenbelagsarten, wie Laminat, Parkett, Teppich, Fliesen und LVT/ Designbelag, benötigt. Zudem gibt es auch noch eine Reihe an nachleuchtenden und LED-beleuchteten Produkten, sowie eine große Auswahl an Zubehör.
Auer Metallprofile bietet je nach Profil verschiedene Befestigungstypen an: gebohrt, selbstklebend oder ungebohrt. Zudem gibt es zwei Verpackungsarten: SB-Pack, also einzeln in Folie eingeschweißt mit Befestigungszubehör und Etikett; und Profi-Pack, was nur das reine Profil umfasst, da viele Handwerker gern ihre eigenen Schrauben und Dübel verwenden.
Über den Katalog hinaus fertigt AMP als Problemlöser Profile auf Anfrage und bietet zusätzlich eine riesige Auswahl an Leistungen, wie Fertigung auf Endmaß, Gehrungsschnitte, Sonderbohrbilder, Fertigung anderer Farben und Oberflächen (eloxiert, RAL-pulverbeschichtet, emailliert, vergoldet, brüniert, mattiert, poliert, …), Profilbiegungen nach Radius oder Schablone und vieles mehr, da individuelle Bausituationen und Kundenwünsche auch flexible Profillösungen erfordern. Neben einem Laser-Stanz-Nippel-Zentrum zählt seit Neuesten nun auch noch eine Laser-Schweiß-Anlage zum Maschinenpark des Profilherstellers, um vorhandene Produkte zu optimieren und neue zu ermöglichen.
Seit 2020 ist Auer Metallprofile Partner der Aktion „Baumpate“ und sorgt für den Schutz und die Pflanzung einheimischer Laub- und Nadelhölzer.
Ressourcenschonung und Recycling wird bei Auer Metallprofile schon jeher gelebt, für alle Metalle, Folien und Kartonagen, da die Gründer, sowie auch noch ihre Kinder in der DDR aufgewachsen sind, in der die Ressourcen generell knapp waren und nichts verschwendet werden durfte. Dies wurde so verinnerlicht, dass es für sie selbstverständlich ist, das Maximum aus allen Ressourcen rauszuholen und den kleinen Rest, der übrig bleibt, auch noch durch regionale Kooperationspartner aufbereiten zu lassen.

Due to the constant development and manufacture of new products, investments in machines and new production capacities, the wishes of the customers could be met better and better. At the same time, the workforce increased to currently 43 employees and 11 sales representatives who work for AMP worldwide.
The product range currently includes more than 6500 products made of aluminum, brass, PVC and stainless steel, for indoor and outdoor use, including a large selection of stair nosings, transition profiles, skirting boards, two and three-part system profiles, tile separation and expansion joint profiles, runner bars, insert -, ramp and special profiles; everything you need for the various types of flooring, such as laminate, parquet, carpet, tiles and LVT / design flooring. There is also a range of phosphorescent and LED-illuminated products, as well as a large selection of accessories.
Auer Metallprofile offers different types of fastening depending on the profile: drilled, self-adhesive or undrilled. There are also two types of packaging: self-service pack, that is, individually shrink-wrapped in foil with fastening accessories and a label; and Profi-Pack, which only includes the pure profile, as many craftsmen like to use their own screws and dowels.
In addition to the catalog, AMP, as a problem solver, produces profiles on request and also offers a huge selection of services, such as production to final dimensions, miter cuts, special drilling patterns, production of other colours and surfaces (anodized, RAL powder-coated, enamelled, gold-plated, brass burnished, matted, polished , ...), profile bending according to radius or template and much more, since individual construction situations and customer requests also require flexible profile solutions. In addition to a laser punching nipple center, the profile manufacturer's machine park now also includes a laser welding system in order to optimize existing products and enable new ones.
Auer Metallprofile has been a partner of the “Tree sponsor” campaign since 2020 and ensures the protection and planting of native hardwood and conifers.
Resource conservation and recycling has always been practiced at Auer Metallprofile, for all metals, foils and cardboard, as the founders and their children grew up in the DDR, where resources were generally scarce and nothing could be wasted. This has been internalized in such a way that it is a matter of course for them to get the most out of all resources and to have the small remainder that is still processed by regional cooperation partners.
